This report made groundbreaking recommendations about how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the  aviation sector. When MEPs voted on the report in plenary they did reject some of Caroline’s proposals. However, commitments in key areas were successfully retained and informed later debate around the Commission’s legislative proposals.
