Greens Protest in European Parliament Over China’s Repressive Policy In Tibet

27 March 2008 - Green Euro-MP Caroline Lucas took part in a demonstration in the European Parliament yesterday to protest against the violently repressive tactics used by the Chinese government against the people of Tibet.

The protest by the Green Group came during a debate in the Parliament on the recent events in Tibet, and saw MEPs wearing specially designed t-shirts from the campaign group, Reporters Without Borders.
