Met with other Greens to discuss our response to Peter Mandelson’s new trade strategy ‘Global Europe’ - an outrageous attempt to force open the markets of some of the poorest countries to the benefit of European corporations. Inevitably, Mandelson focuses on trade liberalisation and pays scant attention to social, environmental or ethical priorities.
