Written Declaration - Corporate Abuse of European Employment Law
Following disputes at the Lindsey Oil Refinery and key European Court of Justice rulings in the Viking, Laval and other cases, Caroline co-sponsored a written declaration calling for an urgent review of the Posted Workers Directive. She is particularly concerned that the legislation is being used by corporations to undermine workers’ rights and that right wing groups promoting racism and xenophobia are exploiting the situation to promote their own agenda.
