Correspondence about Asylum

Despite asylum cases falling outside of an MEP’s remit, Caroline handles large amounts of casework each year on behalf of individuals that fear persecution if deported - perhaps because of their sexuality, political beliefs, religious beliefs or background. Most of this correspondence cannot be made available for confidentiality reasons. However, the nature of this case work has led Caroline to also take up some generic issues with the British Home Office and you can read about these below.
