International Trade and Development

As an MEP, Caroline Lucas has worked for radical reform of the rules governing international trade, promoted fair trade and spoken out to expose the so-called ‘free trade’ agenda of global big business, banks and bureaucrats, which takes power away from ordinary people. She has worked with the global justice movement and puts localisation and fair trade at the heart of her proposals for an alternative to economic globalisation.
